||Q4 - 2011
from the Central Europe, Arad is the main city at the entrance in
Romania. Located on Mures River, the county occupies more than 3% of the
Romanian teritory and has a total population of almost 500,000
inhabitants. The density is strongly increased by the international
traffic generated by the closeness of the borderline and the
international airport of Arad City.
The shopping center is to be developed in the North-Western part of
Arad, at the crossroad of four residential neighborhoods. The access is
provided by various means of transportation, both private and public; a
tram station is located right in front of Galleria Arad. The site is
located on Calea Aurel Vlaicu, the main avenue in Arad, which connects
Galleria to the city center and the mail railway station.
Galleria Arad is scheduled for delivery in Q1,2011. Displayed on two
retail levels, Galleria will include more than a few large-scale units.
The goal is to include in the catchment area of the center a wide range
of shopping and entertainment requests. Galleria Arad offers a tenant
mix that varies from anchor tenants of 1,000–1,500 sq m to boutique
stores of 30–50 sq m, aiming to fulfill all consumer needs from basic
products (supermarket) to fashion and entertainment (cinema, games,
food, coffee shops).
The second level of shopping center is designed to offer a large
variety of leisure activities for any age through a cinema of 8 halls
(Cinema City), games of billiards, bowling and darts (Chicago Games
& Bar), casino (Elite Casino), playground for children (Trombi’s
Jungle), lounge rooms and an international food court.
